Tennessee Board of Regents Google Workshop
The University of Tennessee Board of Regents made the decision to make a significant investment into training their technology leaders to become Google Apps Certified Trainers. To help prepare their faculty members to pass the six required exams to become Google Apps Certified Trainers, the Board of Regents brought in John Sowash to lead a two-day hands-on workshop highlighted the core features and functions of the Google Apps for Education Suite.
The two days of training included practical training on Google Docs, Sites, Calendar, Gmail, the Apps Dashboard and marketplace as well as a significant amount of time devoted to application, collaboration, and competition. Pat, one of the attendees, commented ”This was an excellent workshop. I learned a lot – very motivating and exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to get back to my campus and share this info with others.”
