Sowash Ventures was contracted to facilitate the first annual Michigan Google in Education conference (miGoogle). Sponsored by Google, MACUL and Southfield Christian School, the miGoogle conference will inspire and excite educators with new ways to incorporate web-based technologies into the classroom. Sessions will include introductions to Google products such as Docs, Sites, and Blogger as well as deep-dive sessions for experienced users. Sessions on the management and technical deployment of Google Apps for Education will also be available.
The conference will be kicked off with a keynote session by Ronald Ho, product manager for Google+, as well as spotlight sessions from Scot Graden, superintendent of Saline Area Schools, and Nick Provenzano, the “Nerdy Teacher”.
