October 20-21, 2011 | South-East Michigan
The Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) organized one of the nations very first conferences devoted to iPads in education. The response to the conference was overwhelming; it was sold out within days of being announced.
John Sowash assisted in the planning of the pre-conference workshops which were held at Southfield Christian School on October 20, 2011. John combined his knowledge of the iPad and Google Apps for Education by leading a session entitled “Google on the iPad.” this half-day workshop helped educators learn how they can leverage free Google products on their mobile devices.
John reprised his session in an abbreviated 90 minute workshop on October 21 during the regular conference which was held at the Oakland Schools administrative building.
